About Chef Rhonda
Born in Chicago and raised in the “Golden City”, San Francisco, CA, Chef Rhonda has always been passionate about cooking delicious and healthy foods. She attended the culinary program at Delgado Community College before graduating from Southern A&M University.
In 1996, Chef Rhonda began her professional career at NOLA’s K Creole Kitchen as a Line Cook then later became the Sous Chef. After that, she worked for both Nordstrom Café as Lead Line Cook and Sous Chef for Sunny Delights Catering of Berkeley, CA.
Because of her attitude in treating failures as opportunities to grow, and after tons of grit and consistency, Chef Rhonda successfully launched Cater2uSF LLC in 2010, a Private Chef and Catering Service which serves high-profile clients including first-round NFL draft pick Dion Jordan of the Miami Dolphins, Seattle Seahawks & Oakland Raiders, and corporate clients including Pinterest, Facebook, Google, San Francisco Public Works, McKesson, & many more.
It is her mission to create jobs for people and inspire youth in her community and leave a legacy in San Francisco. “My mission in life is not only to survive, but also to thrive; and to do so with some passion, compassion, some humor, and style.”
In Fall 2021, Chef Rhonda will launch a new show entitled “Soul in the City With Rhonda.”
